I love the minimal shading in this; it makes it look like a woodcut from a children's fairytale book or something. I am once again deeply in awe of your lines, especially for their hair. And the details of their clothing - makes me wonder where or when this is set in.

Thank you! I always really appreciate your comments :)

I actually start off my pictures with just a general idea, so with their costumes, I'd like to think that it's set in some kind of ancient, yet industrialized, fantasy world. As for who's saying goodbye, I'd also like to leave it up to the viewer, but I meant for the red light to symbolize the guy (which means that one can believe that he's not actually there...or a memory...or a ghost, especially since he's fading away). It made sense in my head ^^;

My bf just left for Florida...and I feel all sad now..so, this image reminds me of him, in a strange way. Actually it reminds me of our relationship. lol
