Looking Back



I turn oldface today :( People say that once you turn 21, there isn't really any other birthday to look forward. Unless you're looking forward to turning 30 or 40 or 50. Booo.

But on the bright side, I get to mess around. Legally!

A present came in through the mail for me from my brother today. He got me Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days! I've always been a huge fan of KH and did a lot of fanart ~back in the day~, so I'm hoping that once I get some time to play this game, I'll find the inspiration to do more KH art. Whoever that new female character is, I think she's pretty interesting.

I have to go to this leadership conference this weekend and I definitely know that's going to be occupying my time and keeping me awake.

It even came in a cool clear cover thing! Pretty awesome.



The Scenery Begins


Tangent of the day: I've been really into nice, slow songs with piano backgrounds lately. In fact, if you haven't listened to Vienna Teng, you should check her out! My favorite song by her is Eric's Song (I read somewhere that she wanted to write a love song that didn't have the word "love" in it, but says just as much. Listen!!)

Anyways, I've only done one doodle recently (two days ago, actually) as motivation to someone who had their first set of sessions as a tutor yesterday.

Other than that, I want everyone to meet my bunny! Her name is Kerrigan Queen of Blades (from Starcraft -_-) and is pretty much a pooping, pissing, eating, darting machine. She chews up anything ranging from shoes to socks to wires to my shirt, and thrashes objects like small boxes and her litter pan around all the time. Whenever she poops, it looks like someone had spilled a bowl of Cocoa Puffs all over her cage and her musky yellow pee reeks, but regardless, she's still precious ♥

    I was browsing DA when I came across your Anbu Iruka picture that you drew in 2004. It was an instant fave, due to my love of Iruka and how well-drawn the picture was. I thought I'd check out your gallery, and I was blown away by your improvement! Your art now is incredible, well done!! You are a wonderful example of how practice makes perfect xD
